Open Enrollment and MN-EES: Beginning November 1, 2026, any household without current QHP enrollment will display a “Start New Application” status in MN-EES. This is the correct course of action for households that do not have current Public Program eligibility. Public Program cases are managed in the METS eligibility system, so any updates to these applications should be handled through the County for cases with MA or MA/MinnesotaCare (MCRE) eligibility, or through DHS for MinnesotaCare-only cases.
Personal Identifiers on Calls: When calling the ARC, it is important to remember that if you are using the consumer’s address as one of the three personal identifiers (PIs), you must verify the complete address, including the state, ZIP code, and apartment number, if applicable. Additionally, if the consumer has multiple last names listed in our records, you must verify all last names to use the consumer’s name as an identifier.
